About Me

DENISE BEAULIEU, PH.D.

I am passionate about honing knowledge as a tool. Whether tacit, explicit or scientific, knowledge can be used to guide and improve decision-making for the common good and a better world.

I am also acutely aware that, while the proper use of knowledge is necessary for meaningful positive change, it is not sufficient. After sifting through the most relevant pieces of evidence and translating them for application, the challenge then becomes overcoming obstacles related to complex policy and organizational environments that can lead to the under-utilization of knowledge to affect real change.

My consulting practice is firmly rooted in the belief that the effective and timely utilization of knowledge can promote equity, inclusion, diversity and respect for basic rights.
